Our Objectives
Its main objectives of the community work is to
1) To help the less fortunate through volunteering of time and talent
2) To make good use of time and talent of the participants in a meaningful way
3) To promote cultural exchange between beneficiaries and volunteers
4) For personal development and character building
Organizing and Funding
Service Projects under FES are organized on an ad-hoc basis, with overseas service projects occurring generally once or twice a year, and local service projects spread throughout the year. Participants typically age between 15 to 30 years, with activities timed to coincide with school holidays to encourage younger participants to join. The projects are funded by the participants themselves by organizing activities such bake sales, selling t-shirts and keychains, and housecleaning or by donations from generous individuals.
For Singapore students, CIP (Community Involvement Programme) points can be aquired through our activities.
Also we can guide students who need to design and execute their own community service project. You can contact Karen at karechua[at]gmail.com
